If you feel like meditation is hard this class might be for you! The ancient practices of yoga have never just been about the body. The physical stretches we picture when we talk about yoga in the West are only one part of a holistic process.
This class is for beginners as well as experienced students of yoga and meditation. It will integrate stretching, breath work and meditation in one session. The physical postures loosen us up and let the energy flow unobstructed. The Prana breath work increases the amount of life force energy in our system, which sets us up for a successful meditation! This practice is helping me immensely and I look forward to sharing it with you!
My hope is that you will leave the class feeling both energized and calm, with some new tools in your hands to take with you, for maintenance of a healthy mind and body.

A moving meditation
This yoga class synchronizes physical postures (asanas) directly with a steady cadence of breath and movement. This fluid, wave-like style of vinyasa focuses on cultivating prana (life-force energy) through breath-led, organic movement. The non-rigid sequencing is structured in waves that alternate between solar (energizing/heating) and lunar (cooling/restorative) rhythms.
Breath Is The Guide: each movement and posture originates from the core and internal breath awareness rather than rigid mechanical alignment. Each class is creatively aligned and attuned to seasonal and elemental cycles; the natural rhythms of the body and the breath in relation to Nature, Self and Soul, the Earth and Stars.
